The 640 Meg Shareware Studio Series
Data Express, Inc.
Install Program (c) 1994 Vince Sorensen
$Notes:
You *CANNOT* place the configuration files, or STUDIO.BAT on the
CD-ROM drive. It is a read-only drive. Since these files are
customized for your system, they must be written to a read/write drive.
After installation, run STUDIO.BAT. Go into the configuration
option and specify which viewers you wish to use (I.E. SVGA or CSHOW
for GIFs, PKUNZIP -V for .ZIP archives). The installation program will
set them to SVGA, PKZIP -V, and INTERNAL as defaults.
Make sure that the external viewers you specify are on your path.
Not all functions will work correctly if the program cannot find these
files.
Please consult the documentation for more information.
TIP: When you are using more than one CD-ROM in the Shareware Studio
series, you can access all of them with one program.

Accessing All CD-ROMs Through One Database
The shareware program CD-ROM PRO (which you will find on one of
the Shareware Studio series of CD-ROMs) can track multiple CD-ROMs
without the need to keep separate databases, and adds many functions
to the ACCESS.EXE program (the registered version will automatically
detect and load the FILES.BBS for easy setup). This will be the best
solution to managing your CD-ROM library. On Shareware Studio 3 and
above, a STUDIO?.CNF file exists in the \STUDIO directory that can
be used with CD-ROM PRO.
